Who can use NIDEA

You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you confirm that you are able to enter into a binding agreement.

How you can use it

NIDEA is for private, lawful communication. You agree not to:

  • harass anyone, commit fraud, pretend to be someone else, or send spam;
  • share content that breaks Nigerian law, exploits children, or spreads sexual images of someone without their consent;
  • try to get around, switch off or alter the app’s security or encryption.

Your content and your privacy

What you send is yours. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, Netgrawl does not see, monitor or moderate the content of private chats, and you are responsible for what you share. How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Usernames

An @username is a licence you can lose, not property. Netgrawl may take back a username used to impersonate someone, that infringes a trademark, or that has been inactive for a long time.

Emergencies

Changes to NIDEA

NIDEA is free to use and has no ads. Netgrawl may change the service, add optional features or update these terms, and will tell you in the app first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are for the courts in Abuja, Nigeria.
