About these policies

Netgrawl Advertising provides businesses, organisations, brands, creators and other qualifying advertisers with access to advertising opportunities across the Netgrawl digital ecosystem.

These Advertising Policies establish the standards that apply to advertising submitted through or delivered by Netgrawl Advertising.

They are designed to protect audiences, advertisers, publishers, creators and the integrity of the Netgrawl ecosystem.

These policies apply to advertising delivered through:

  • Netgrawl-operated websites and applications
  • Netgrawl Advertising inventory
  • Approved partner or third-party publisher properties participating in the Netgrawl Advertising network
  • Future advertising formats, placements and distribution channels operated or managed by Netgrawl Advertising.

Where a particular publisher, platform, jurisdiction, advertising format or campaign requires stricter standards, the stricter standard may apply.

Where advertising is permitted, Netgrawl may require:

  • Appropriate age restrictions

  • Compliance with publisher-specific requirements.

Advertising designed to encourage unlawful gambling or gambling by prohibited audiences is not permitted.

Financial advertising requires a high level of transparency.

Advertising for financial products or services must not:

  • Guarantee returns that cannot reasonably be guaranteed
  • Misrepresent financial risks
  • Conceal material fees or conditions
  • Present speculative investments as risk-free
  • Use misleading performance claims
  • Imply regulatory approval that does not exist

  • Diagnosing diseases
  • Curing serious medical conditions
  • Guaranteed treatment outcomes
  • Guaranteed weight loss
  • Guaranteed psychological or physical outcomes
  • Unproven medical procedures
  • Products presented as substitutes for professional medical care where such representation would be misleading.

Advertisers may be required to demonstrate relevant approvals, licences or professional credentials.

Netgrawl may reject advertising that presents medically unsupported claims or could reasonably create a significant risk of harm.

Supplements, food and consumer health products

Advertising for supplements, nutritional products and consumer health products must accurately represent the product and must not make misleading medical claims.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their products comply with applicable food, health, safety and consumer-protection requirements.

Claims such as "guaranteed cure," "instant treatment" or similarly absolute health claims may be rejected where they cannot be appropriately substantiated.

Political advertising

Political advertising may be subject to heightened review and may be restricted or prohibited depending on:

  • Jurisdiction
  • Applicable electoral law
  • Election periods
  • Advertiser identity
  • Campaign purpose
  • Audience
  • Publisher requirements
  • Netgrawl's own platform standards.

Where political advertising is accepted, Netgrawl may require clear identification of the advertiser or sponsoring entity.

Netgrawl may request documentation establishing the identity and authority of the organisation or individual purchasing the advertising.

Netgrawl may impose additional restrictions during elections or other politically sensitive periods.

Religious advertising

Religious organisations and campaigns may advertise where permitted by the applicable publisher and jurisdiction.

Advertising must not:

  • Promote hatred against protected groups

  • Deliberately misrepresent another religion or belief system
  • Make fraudulent financial promises

  • Exploits children's vulnerability
  • Encourages unsafe behaviour
  • Requests unnecessary personal information from children
  • Uses manipulative purchasing techniques directed at children
  • Promotes products unsuitable for minors.

Certain products may not be advertised in environments reasonably expected to contain significant numbers of children.

Part 3 · Content standards

Discrimination and hateful content

Advertising must not promote discrimination, hatred or hostility against individuals or groups based on protected or sensitive characteristics.

Advertising may not:

  • Promote racial or ethnic hatred
  • Encourage violence against a group
  • Dehumanise individuals
  • Promote extremist ideology
  • Encourage discrimination in unlawful ways
  • Use slurs or hateful stereotypes as promotional content.

Legitimate discussion, educational material, news and documentary content may be evaluated differently depending on context.

Harassment, threats and abuse

Advertising must not be used to harass, threaten, intimidate, expose or target individuals for abuse.

This includes advertising that:

  • Encourages harassment
  • Publishes private information
  • Threatens an identifiable person
  • Encourages coordinated abuse
  • Promotes stalking
  • Directs audiences toward an individual for harassment.

Misleading or deceptive advertising

Advertising must accurately represent the product, service or offer being promoted.

Netgrawl may reject advertising that:

  • Uses materially false claims
  • Hides important conditions
  • Uses deceptive pricing
  • Creates false urgency
  • Misrepresents availability
  • Uses fabricated testimonials
  • Uses misleading before-and-after imagery
  • Falsely implies endorsement
  • Falsely implies affiliation with Netgrawl or another organisation
  • Makes unsupported superiority claims
  • Uses misleading statistics or performance results.

Advertisers should ensure that important terms and conditions are reasonably clear to the audience.

Pricing and promotional offers

Advertised prices must be accurate.

Where an advertisement promotes a discount, sale, promotion or special offer, the advertiser must ensure that:

  • The advertised price is genuine
  • The applicable conditions are clear
  • The offer is available for the stated period
  • Any material exclusions are disclosed
  • The advertiser can fulfil the advertised offer.

Netgrawl may request evidence supporting promotional claims.

Testimonials, reviews and endorsements

Testimonials and endorsements must represent genuine experiences or otherwise be presented in a way that does not mislead the audience.

Advertisers must not:

  • Fabricate customer reviews
  • Purchase or manufacture false testimonials
  • Misrepresent an endorsement
  • Imply that an individual endorses a product without permission
  • Present paid endorsements as independent opinions without appropriate disclosure where disclosure is required.

Artificial intelligence and synthetic media

Advertisers may use AI-generated or AI-assisted creative materials provided they have the necessary rights and the resulting advertising does not violate these policies.

AI-generated content must not be used to:

  • Impersonate individuals deceptively
  • Fabricate endorsements
  • Create fraudulent testimonials
  • Misrepresent real-world events
  • Manipulate audiences through deceptive synthetic media
  • Infringe another party's rights.

Netgrawl may require disclosure or modification of synthetic content where necessary to prevent audience deception.

Intellectual property

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to use:

  • Logos
  • Images
  • Video
  • Audio
  • Music
  • Fonts
  • Illustrations
  • Trademarks
  • Product images
  • Testimonials
  • User-generated content
  • Other creative materials.

Advertising must not knowingly infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy or other intellectual-property rights.

Netgrawl may request evidence of licensing or authorisation.

Use of Netgrawl branding

Advertisers may not imply that Netgrawl:

  • Endorses their business
  • Certifies their product
  • Guarantees their results
  • Is a partner of their organisation
  • Has otherwise approved their business

unless Netgrawl has expressly authorised such representation.

Founding Advertiser status, Partner status or another package designation may be used only in accordance with the applicable package terms and brand guidelines.

Part 4 · Landing pages, creative and targeting

Landing page requirements

Where an advertisement directs users to a website or landing page, the destination must be reasonably consistent with the advertisement.

Landing pages must:

  • Be functional
  • Clearly identify the advertised product or service
  • Not contain prohibited content
  • Not automatically download malicious software
  • Not intentionally conceal material information
  • Not use deceptive redirects
  • Provide reasonably accessible information about the advertised offer
  • Comply with applicable laws.

Netgrawl may review the destination page before campaign approval and during the campaign.

Creative requirements

Advertising creative must comply with the technical requirements specified for the relevant placement.

Depending on the format, requirements may include:

  • File dimensions
  • File size
  • File format
  • Animation duration
  • Video duration
  • Audio requirements
  • Text limits
  • Resolution
  • Click-through URL requirements
  • Other placement-specific specifications.

Netgrawl may reject creative that is technically incompatible with the intended placement.

User experience and technical safety

Advertising must not materially interfere with the operation of a Netgrawl or partner platform.

Prohibited practices include:

  • Malicious redirects
  • Automatic downloads
  • Deceptive close buttons
  • Fake system alerts
  • Browser manipulation
  • Excessive pop-ups
  • Attempts to bypass platform security
  • Malware
  • Phishing
  • Credential harvesting
  • Other harmful technical behaviour.

Netgrawl may immediately suspend advertising that presents a technical or security risk.

Targeting and audience use

Advertisers may use targeting capabilities made available under their package, subject to platform and legal restrictions.

Targeting must not be used to unlawfully discriminate or exploit sensitive personal circumstances.

Netgrawl may restrict targeting based on:

  • Age
  • Location
  • Sensitive characteristics
  • Health information
  • Financial vulnerability
  • Political affiliation
  • Religious belief
  • Other sensitive information
  • Publisher-specific requirements.

Targeting availability may differ between Netgrawl-owned properties and third-party publisher environments.

Personal data and privacy

Advertisers must handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.

Advertisers must not use Netgrawl Advertising to unlawfully collect:

  • Passwords
  • Authentication credentials
  • Financial account credentials
  • Sensitive personal information
  • Personal information belonging to individuals without appropriate authority
  • Other information collected through deceptive means.

Where a campaign involves personal-data collection, the advertiser is responsible for providing appropriate notices, lawful processing and applicable user rights.

Part 5 · Review, delivery and reporting

Third-party publishers

Netgrawl Advertising may distribute campaigns across approved third-party publisher properties.

Third-party publishers may have additional advertising requirements.

An advertisement accepted for one Netgrawl property may therefore be:

  • Modified
  • Restricted
  • Rejected
  • Delayed
  • Excluded

from another property.

Netgrawl may maintain publisher-specific standards, inventory restrictions and technical requirements in addition to these Advertising Policies.

Campaign review and approval

Netgrawl Advertising is currently a managed advertising service.

Campaigns may be reviewed for:

  • Policy compliance
  • Legal and regulatory requirements
  • Advertiser identity
  • Product or service legitimacy
  • Creative quality
  • Technical compatibility
  • Audience suitability
  • Publisher requirements
  • Inventory availability
  • Other operational considerations.

Netgrawl may request additional information before approving a campaign.

Changes requested during review

Netgrawl may request that an advertiser:

  • Modify advertising copy
  • Change creative
  • Provide additional disclosures
  • Provide supporting documentation
  • Modify a landing page
  • Change targeting
  • Select a different placement
  • Make another reasonable adjustment

before a campaign can be approved.

The advertiser may be required to make the requested changes before campaign activation.

Campaign rejection

Netgrawl may reject a campaign where:

  • It violates these policies
  • It violates applicable law
  • Required documentation is not provided
  • The advertiser cannot establish sufficient legitimacy
  • The creative is unsuitable for the intended audience
  • The campaign cannot technically be delivered
  • The relevant inventory is unavailable
  • A publisher rejects the campaign
  • The campaign presents material reputational, legal, safety or security risk
  • Netgrawl otherwise determines that the campaign is not appropriate for the platform.

Netgrawl is not required to accept every advertising request.

Campaign suspension or removal

Netgrawl may suspend, modify or remove an active campaign if:

  • The campaign is subsequently found to violate these policies
  • The advertiser provides misleading information
  • The advertised product or service becomes unlawful
  • A regulatory issue arises
  • The campaign generates a significant security or safety concern
  • A publisher withdraws the applicable inventory
  • The campaign materially harms platform users or the integrity of the platform
  • Other circumstances reasonably require intervention.

Where appropriate, Netgrawl may notify the advertiser and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, publishers or the platform.

Advertising availability

Advertising inventory is subject to availability.

A package does not necessarily guarantee availability of every advertising format, placement or future Netgrawl property at every point in time.

Where a package provides cross-platform or future-platform benefits, such benefits remain subject to qualifying inventory and applicable package terms.

Netgrawl may provide an alternative placement or campaign arrangement where the originally intended inventory is unavailable.

Campaign performance

Netgrawl will make reasonable efforts to deliver campaigns according to the agreed campaign plan.

However, advertising performance can be affected by factors outside Netgrawl's control, including:

  • Audience behaviour
  • Platform usage
  • Device availability
  • Network conditions
  • Publisher changes
  • Market conditions
  • Third-party systems
  • Technical interruptions
  • Other external circumstances.

Netgrawl does not guarantee a particular number of clicks, impressions, conversions, sales, leads or other commercial outcomes unless expressly agreed in writing.

Reporting

Reporting varies according to the advertiser's package.

Reports may include available campaign information such as:

  • Campaign duration
  • Delivery information
  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Engagement
  • Placement information
  • Other available performance metrics.

Metrics may differ by platform, advertising format and publisher.

Third-party publisher reporting may also be subject to the information made available by that publisher.

Part 6 · Enforcement

Advertiser complaints and policy reports

Advertisers, publishers and users may report advertising that they believe violates these policies.

Reports should include enough information to identify the advertisement and explain the concern.

Netgrawl may investigate reported advertising and take appropriate action.

Reports may be submitted through the applicable Netgrawl Advertising support channel.

Policy enforcement

Netgrawl may take one or more of the following actions when a policy violation occurs:

  • Request modification
  • Reject the campaign
  • Restrict a placement
  • Restrict targeting
  • Suspend a campaign
  • Remove advertising creative
  • Restrict an advertiser's access
  • Terminate an advertising relationship
  • Refer a matter to an appropriate authority where required.

The appropriate response will depend on the nature and severity of the issue.

Repeat or serious violations

Repeated or serious violations may result in additional restrictions.

These may include:

  • Longer review periods
  • Additional verification
  • Suspension of future campaign requests
  • Loss of access to particular advertising inventory
  • Termination of advertising privileges
  • Other appropriate measures.

Fraudulent, malicious or unlawful activity may result in immediate suspension.

Part 7 · Updates and related terms

Policy updates

Netgrawl may update these Advertising Policies as the advertising platform, technology, regulatory environment and publisher network evolve.

Updates may address:

  • New advertising formats
  • New products or services
  • New legal requirements
  • New publisher requirements
  • Emerging technologies
  • New safety concerns
  • Changes to the Netgrawl ecosystem.

The latest version published on the official Netgrawl website will represent the current Advertising Policies.

Advertisers participating in ongoing campaigns may be subject to updated requirements where necessary for legal, safety or platform-integrity reasons.

Relationship with other Netgrawl terms

These Advertising Policies form part of the broader framework governing Netgrawl Advertising.

They should be read together with:

Advertising Terms & Conditions
The commercial and contractual terms governing advertising purchases, payments, campaign credits, cancellations, refunds, liability and related matters.
Privacy Policy
The policy governing the collection and processing of personal information.
Package Terms
Additional conditions applicable to specific advertising packages, including Founding Advertiser packages.
Campaign Order / Confirmation
The campaign-specific details agreed between Netgrawl and the advertiser.

Where a package or campaign has additional requirements, those requirements may apply alongside these Advertising Policies.

Important notice

Netgrawl Advertising policies are designed to establish a consistent advertising standard across the Netgrawl ecosystem.

However, applicable laws, regulations, publisher requirements and platform-specific standards may impose additional restrictions.

Compliance with these policies does not relieve an advertiser of its responsibility to comply with applicable law.

Advertisers are responsible for obtaining all licences, approvals, permissions and authorisations required for their products, services and advertising.
